Our mission is to help each person discover who he or she is IN Christ.
When we don’t know who we are or who God has created us to be we look to others and make foolish comparisons. Paul is telling us to test our own actions in the context of who we are IN Christ and what role we play in His body. It is only then that we can take pride in how far we have come in our spiritual journey.
Our testing of who we are needs to be line up with God’s Word and who He has created and called us to be. We must not fall for the trap of measuring our spirituality to someone else’s.
‘I am IN Christ and God alone is my redeemer and Savior and my measure of worth.’ -
'God please help me to keep my eyes on you and not feel the need to compare myself to someone else.’ -
