LYNN WOOD 2010 DAY CAMP

July 12-16 was a special week in our 3rd Ministry Zone at Lynn Wood Elementary School.  This was our first ever Day Camp/VBS in one of our ministry zones and God greatly blessed.  We saw over 100 children participate throughout the week.  Our theme verse was Jeremiah 29:11 as we taught the children about God's plan for their life. By the end of the week, God gave us great favor with the children, their parents, and the administration of the school.  We also saw 9 children give their lives to Christ as Lord and Savior.

Our volunteer leaders did an amazing job of ministering to the children through family groups, craft time, crazy recreation, water games, spirited competitions and 100 degree heat every day.  Each child walked away knowing that they were loved by the people of Parkview and by the Lord God who created them.  One parent made the comment that this was the first week long event that their children wanted to come back to every day!  To God be the glory for all the great things He allows us to be a part of in taking the gospel into all the earth.
