Thank you for your partnership in what God is doing through Parkview Baptist Church!
Why do we give to the local church?
Giving begins with the realization that God is a giving God Who has given us everything we have. As Christ followers we have a responsibility to reflect our trust in Him by managing ALL of our resources with faithfulness and generosity, and by investing wisely in things that will last forever. (Proverbs 3:9; 1 John 3:16-17; Matthew 6:19-21)
Throughout Scripture we are reminded of how important it is to give back a portion of what God has so generously provided. His Word tells us that giving is an act of worship that should be done with a spirit of thanksgiving.
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."(2 Corinthians 9:7)
