Mel Loftis - Director of Recreation Ministries

Melinda (Mel) Loftis works with all age groups to provide recreation/leisure-time opportunities where they can grow spiritually while ministering to others. The two Parkview sewing ministries, Circle of Friends and This-n-That (TnT) are great examples of this style of ministry. She works with all the other staff to provide recreation programming in their areas from preschool to senior adults. Mel also works with several leadership teams that are made up of church members. These leadership teams work on various ministry opportunities throughout the year. Some of these include; summer sports camp, Run to the SON! (Labor Day Race), All-Star Basketball Program (1st-5th graders) and Hardwood Hoops (Monday Night Basketball).

*Paul works nights and takes care of the children on the days he is not in school (he is pursuing a degree in nursing). He also works weekends in the Saint Francis Emergency Room.

Besides Josiah and Wyatt; playing golf, basketball, softball, watching OU football and NASCAR and most any other sport on TV
