Personal note from the Pastor:

I had the privilege of becoming pastor of Parkview Baptist Church on Sept. 7, 2003. I trusted Christ as my Lord and Savior through the influence of my high school sweetheart, Cami, who is now my wife, the mother of our four children, and my best friend. We have served the Lord in full-time ministry since 1986. We began our early ministry days in Student Ministry and spent 15 years ministering to students and their families. In 1999, God opened a door for me to return to First Baptist Church of Fort Smith, Arkansas as Associate Pastor where I was mentored by one of my heroes in the faith, Dale Thompson. It was during this time that God was birthing an overwhelming passion to pastor God’s people. I didn’t grow up being actively involved in a church and did not experience God’s grace until the end of my high school years. Consequently, I have a huge passion to reach out to those who are separated from God’s love and see them discipled in their faith. It is my desire to glorify God as I become a servant leader to His Church and seek to live the greatest commandments by loving God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my strength, with all my mind, and loving my neighbor as myself.
