State Of The Church

The annual State of the Church Sermon is a unique Sunday where our pastor shares with the church what we have accomplised in the past year and what we hope to accomplish in the present year.

At Parkview, our mission statement in short is: "Be all God wants you to Be by loving Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and by loving your neighbor as yourself.” This mission statement was adopted by the members of Parkview in September of 2005, and it represents what we are striving for as a church. By loving God and loving others, every member is putting into practice the greatest two commandments in the Bible. However, in order to “be all God wants us to be” as a church, Parkview has also adopted a strategy known as “The Parkview Pillars” and "The Parkview Priorities". These 'pillars' and 'priorities' give support and direction to the internal ministries (who we are) and external mission (what we do) of the church. It is our hope that Parkview Baptist Church would become a place “where every member is ministered to and every member is a minister”.
