Sunday Morning Worship

9:00 a.m. - Traditional Worship - In the traditional services we have a full choir, sing hymns, and use more traditional music with instruments such as the piano and organ.

10:30 a.m. - Contemporary Worship - In the contemporary service we use our praise team instead of our choir, sing praise and worship songs and use more modern music with instruments such as guitar, keyboard and drums. This is also the service our youth attend because only one hour of Sunday School is offered for youth, which is at 9:00 a.m.

***While the music differs between services, our Pastor preaches the same message. It is also important to note that while the style of music in the two services is different, all music used is doctrinally sound and aims to bring glory to God.

ID Wednesday Discipleship - Midweek Bible Study & Discipleship classes for Adults

Classes offered for the Fall 2018 semester:

The classes listed below will meet Wednesday evenings at 6-7:20 p.m.

Pastor’s Study: Pastor Steve will continue the verse by verse study in the book of Matthew. This class will meet in the Fellowship Hall West and will last all semester at no cost.

Pilgrim’s Progress: Curt Payne will lead this 9 week study through John Bunyan’s book. As we read this classic together, we will discover the many rich word-pictures pointing us back to
theological and doctrinal truths found in Scripture. This study highlights the importance of 2 Corinthians 13:5, to examine our own hearts, and encourages us on our spiritual pilgrimage.
Suggested cost is $10. Class will meet in FLC 201-202

James Faith/Works: Pastor Brent will facilitate this 13 week study by Matt Chandler where we examine the relationship between Faith and Works, while understanding that works don’t save us, rather good works follow true faith as our beliefs and actions line up with each other.
Suggested cost is $10. Class will meet in FLC 205-206.

Understanding How Others Misunderstand You: Melinda Loftis will lead this 13 week study by Ken Voges & Ron Braund. If your relationships are worth strengthening, this study is for you! Behavior differences can be a God-given blessing or those same distinctions can strike a deathblow to what would otherwise be a productive and fruitful church. Cost of class is $15. Class will meet in FLC 215.

Special Wednesday Afternoon Class:

These are the Days of Elijah: Dr. Betty Kupperschmidt will facilitate Dr. David Jeremiah’s 10-week study which challenges Christians to embrace lessons from Elijah’s life to accomplish great things for God. Pulled from I and II Kings, we learn that Elijah was “someone like us.” Wednesdays from 2-3:30 p.m. in FLC 215. Suggested cost is $10.
